This three-month internship has been a very enjoyable and meaningful experience for me. Lionel is a great supervisor and a positive role model. I'm so touched by his devotion to society's welfare, care for others, and passion in educating and empowering young people. He's always nice, patient, and helpful to us. Additionally, I developed several important skills, such as teamwork and communication skills. I worked closely with my teammates who are skillful and dedicated, and we have weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions. I have also gained commercial awareness and expanded my horizon. This internship opens up my future career perspectives in PR&Comms as well as education.

I want to thank you again for your help. I think this is an excellent internship. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. Due to the impact of the global epidemic, the internship I participated in was a virtual internship. But this did not affect the quality of my internship. The content of my internship is to help my supervisor to conduct research on urban sustainability. My supervisor taught me patiently, and was kind and prompt to solve my problems and provide me with help. I think it is a lucky thing for me to get this internship opportunity. I also had a lot of interesting talk with my supervisor during the internship. I also hope to have the opportunity to visit him in person in the future. This internship is an unforgettable memory for me.

As I have long been fascinated in art and design field, this internship is beneficial for me to foster my design skills and deepen my understandings to the job market for the field. To conclude, I am grateful with the help and support from the organiser Bloom of youth and the staffs from internship site. They really help me greatly. Bloom of youth is nice because the staffs are willing to offer helping hands for the participants. Overall, the organisation is helpful and the programme is well-organised. Overall speaking, I really enjoyed my global virtual internship experience. First of all, I have a kind supervisor as well as colleagues who provide me with a nice and supportive working environment. Secondly, I also got exposure to a microplastics reduction program outside HK which undeniably is a precious experience for me. I also got to sharpen my English skills as well as enhancing my knowledge in environmental education programs.

I am so glad to have Cordell being my supervisor, he is really nice and helpful. He always designs tasks based on the skills that I would like to learn from him and teaching me when I encounter difficulties patiently. He taught me about the skills and shortcuts detailly via our meeting time even though he was busy. I have learned a lot from him and have experienced a great internship. I am satisfied with this internship :) I think the bloom of youth has provided good service throughout the whole internship which has a quick response and on-going email reminding me about the internship issues.

My internship experience was great so far, and my supervisor has introduced me to my line manager and other colleagues. We have weekly meeting on each Friday to check the progress and discuss what to work on next week. My major tasks are designing a newsletter, assisting the team to organise an upcoming event and performing desk research for future events. I have the chance to understand more about the beauty and fashion industry in UK and African region.
